About Me
by Josh Houston on Mar.25, 2009, under
Hello, my Name is Josh, and I’m the Writer of this Self-titled Blog, Joshhouston.net.
I’m Currently a Intern at the Honor Academy, where I learn about, and pursue God with every day that I live. Before coming here, I worked Full-Time for an ISP, DP Communications, where I would do anything that was required of me. I learned many things I did not even have an expectation to learn, and they have aided me many times.
I’ve been growing up with Technology all my life, but don’t let that fool you that I don’t ever get out.
I have had family, friends, friends of friends, strangers, all ask for computer help, and whether it be big or small, I was always willing to help. I enjoy helping people, it’s who I am. And throughout this time of me being here at the Honor Academy, I havn’t had hardly anyone ask for help, because there are others who take care of that. But I still wanted to give, and to share my own knowledge. So I started this website. But the number one problem, whenever I would explain how a hacker could break into their wireless network, or how their password was weak and could be “brute-forced,” it would go over their head. A simple concept to one person, is another world to someone else. So here, I show you both sides; How the bad guys can do it, and the best ways to defend againist it.
I also will post technology news, and other tidbits of information that I find interesting, as others may as well. But, what if you have a question..but the answer is not here? Simple.. ASK!
I am more than willing to help out anyone I can. To contact me, email me here, josh@joshhouston.net. Or just comment anywhere on the site.
